Dessert Party In The Texas Hill Country
This past weekend, we ventured out to the Texas hill country to visit one of our absolute favorite wedding venues, Prospect House. They partnered up with Paige Newton, Bricolage Curated Florals, Loot Rentals, and Contigo to host an open house party to show off their space to brides and wedding industry friends. As soon as I walked through the big sliding door, I was in awe. I've never seen the space look so good! Scroll down for some #iPhonePics of some of my favorite scenes from the afternoon.
Loved this view looking out over Prospect House's outside beer garden area. The trees and natural hill country landscape perfectly complemented the minimalist bohemian vibes and neutral color palette of the entire party.
So funny! I actually ran into one of our LoveBash clients, photographer Laura Dominguez, and her fiancé Jon at the party. Laura and I went to dinner the night before the event (to Contigo's new location in downtown Austin!), and somehow we both forgot to mention we were planning to head out to Prospect House the next day. It was so great running into them because we got to sneak in a little venue walkthrough and talk about some decor ideas for their wedding at Prospect House this summer.
Samantha from Bricolage created tons of gorgeous floral arrangements, but I had a soft spot for this minimalist tumbleweed installation. After flipping through Marfa Modern, my new favorite coffee table book, I've been wanting to incorporate tumbleweeds into more design projects, whether that's in my home or at client events.
'Til next time, Prospect House! We loved getting to catch up.
